Valson is vertically integrated textile mill with its own Weaving, Dyeing, and Printing, and finishing processes.

Valson was established in 1960. Since its inception it has become a leader in VAT Dye Discharge printing method. Our processes have been handed down through generations. This method of printing yields the best in depth of color and fastness as the base fabric is dyed using reactive colors and then washed and dried and then printed using Vat paste on the screen which bleaches out the dyed base. Often the back and front of the printed fabric is hard to discern and creates a high value garment. Most printing mills nowadays use reactive or pigment overprint in which the screen is printed on one side. The back of the fabric shows the white base fabric and is unappealing to the eye.

The ground color has to be printed unlike discharge printing where it is Dyed. Valson finishing yields a soft hand-feel and excellent drape. ‘The ‘ Valson Finish’ has been attempted in vain at many other mills as it is synonymous with the high quality hand-feel and color integrity that we offer.
